Air Canada Logo Design Process (not final)

So I made these and I was really excited but my teacher didn't seem to like it at all and she said that the leaf looked "unintentionally skewed" which I sort of get what she means... Anyway, when designing thing this happens when you like something you designed but the client doesn't. One of my profs called it "killing your baby" meaning you kill what you created and loved because the client's need is what matters in the end. So yeah, I have to kill these babies :(

Day of Issue + Cancellation Marks

I recently uploaded some stamps for my last project (check older posts) and this is a continuation of that where we had to make their "day of issue" envelope and a "cancellation mark".

The French translation is not really a translation (she wasn't marking our French) I just put the entire english text in google translation and pasted it in there... I am aware that is not the way to translate text... :)

i decided to go with the Canada Goose on my cancellation mark because the show is about different types of planes, so it felt wrong to put a single airplane...

Typography 3 Project 3

A poster about 5-15 typefaces of our choice... I chose display typefaces, and the rational is on the very right side of the poster so I won't repeat it here... The printed thing is 59"x10.5" By far the biggest thing I've ever printed...!
It reads "DISPLAY" in the negative space... It looks less obvious when you look at the actual poster which makes it more interesting when you do realize... The idea for that actually goes to my friend Alex at ocad, he saw me doing this and thought it would be cool if I wrote something in the negative space, which turned out to be a major part of the poster composition! Thanks Alex, check out some of his works here: http://giantdays.tumblr.com/

Stamps!

Stamps to commemorate something Canadian! I chose to make my stamps about the air show, and specifically the planes that are significant and iconic to Canada's aviation history (I don't have a "thing" for planes, but they are very cool!)
So this project specifically said we had to make 3 of a series, so consistency was a factor... Also the 57 and CANADA are required.
